From the birth of LOKTAH came an amazing line of products, handmade with natural and sustainable materials for the artist industry. Loktah grew into one of the largest collections and one of the leading companies to provide such a unique outlook on packaging for the artist and photographic industry.
We then had a dream to create a home collection that would provide beautiful handcrafted products from the heart of Louisiana. Since Louisiana is rich in French influence we decided to base our simple and elegant designs from the French Industrial Revolution age that to this day evokes a timeless appearance without going out of style.
We even wanted our materials to come from various parts of our home state that carried with it a rich history, full of life. Many of our pieces are created using reclaimed cypress found in old homes and barns that were thought to have no life left. We bring the old back to life, lasting many generations.
